A trip to Florida wouldn't be complete without a visit to Kennedy Space Centre. It's a great day out for space fans with a chance to meet a real life astronaut, see actual rockets that have returned from space, and if you're lucky you might get to see the latest Space Shuttle launch when you visit the NASA Headquarters.
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is just a few hours drive from Orlando on the East Coast of Florida.
As well as being an actual NASA launch site - Kennedy Space Centre is geared towards visitors, with guided tours, flight simulators, children's play areas and film theatres. Pay a visit to the Astronaut Hall Of Fame and you might just get to shake hands with a genuine pioneer of space travel.
